The Episcopal Day School
At ECOOS, we take pride in providing exceptional preschool education to children in our community through our Episcopal Day School in Rock Hill, SC. We strive to build academic, spiritual, social, and emotional confidence for all children by providing a nurturing educational environment led by highly qualified educators.

Facts About the Episcopal Day School:
- The Episcopal Day School has been a ministry of our church for for than 65 years.
- Over 100 children are currently enrolled in the school, ages six weeks to four years old.
- Several children attend Episcopal Day School through our scholarship program.
- All of the children attend music class each week.
- All of the 3- and 4-year-old teachers are certified teachers.
- All 3- and 4-year-old children attend chapel in the church every Monday morning, and a different child gets to ring the bell in the Parish Hall before entering the church.
- The 4-year-old children walk to the Public Library once a month for a Literacy Program.
- The 4-year-old children have a science lesson once a week (the Volcano is their favorite!).
- The Episcopal Day School has a Literacy Coach.
- EDS hosts Thanksgiving, Christmas, and programs in the church each year, and graduation is held in May. In addition, a fall festival is held in the Parish Hall in October; Easter eggs are hunted in the garden in the spring; and the annual art show, where the children’s art is displayed, is hosted at the end of the year.
Ways to Get Involved in the Episcopal Day School:
- Volunteer to read to the children.
- Donate an item for the art show silent auction.
- Donate tissues, hand sanitizer, Lysol, or baby wipes.
- Sponsor a child through our scholarship program.
- Sponsor CPR training for teachers ($450/year).
- Sponsor supplies for a month ($150/month).
- Sponsor security and safety needs ($300-$700/year).
