Giving at Our Saviour

Stewardship

In the Episcopal Church, we believe Stewardship is about being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God.

Pledging

Pledging is a commitment to give time, money, and talents to the church as a way to express faith and respond to God’s generosity. Pledges are not legally binding and can be changed at any time.  Here are some things to know about pledging in the Episcopal Church:

  • Pledging helps the church plan for the coming year by providing a basis for the annual budget.
  • Pledges also help the church remember that everything comes from God.  Pledges can be made in cash, credit card (online giving portal), check or gifts of stock, see below.

Gifts of Stock

We have partnered with Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC) regarding gifts of stock to Our Saviour. If you would like to pay your annual pledge or make other general gifts via stock, they can be directed to The Our Saviour Foundation Fund #1215 and should be designated as “spendable income Fund 1215.” Here is a link to the FFTC Asset Delivery Instructions – you will see the stock transfer instructions on the bottom half of the page. To ensure that your gift is properly credited, please always let Robyn Brown (finance@ecoos.org) know to expect the gift. FFTC also asks that either you or your broker notify them directly to provide your contact information and the specific gift details (such as the purpose of the gift) so that they can match incoming gifts with the correct information. You can contact them at (704)973-4529 or support@fftc.org with the gift information. If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to Sally Baker (siwbaker@gmail.com) or Robyn Brown (finance@ecoos.org).
